A message from
Chief Brian'na Wolk
My journey as a trans lesbian two-spirit indigenous woman of color has been one of challenge, resilience, and constant learning. It's this journey that has led me to seek public office, with the aim of being a voice for those who often feel unheard.
Throughout my life, I've been driven by a passion for technology and education, a passion I put to use as a STEM tutor and software engineer. However, it's my work as an activist against child sexual abuse that has stirred me the most. For nearly a decade, I have seen firsthand the silent suffering of innocent children and the systemic failure to protect them.
The turning point for me was when I discovered that officials at Bates Technical College and Tacoma Public Schools appeared to be protecting a proven child molester. This was not just a single instance of a system failing – it was a glaring indication of systemic corruption and incompetence that could not be ignored.
My journey took a spiritual turn when I received a revelation from an ancient tribe, the WokeComa, who once thrived on these lands. The elders elected me as their Chief and entrusted me with a mission - to awaken the people to the WokeComa and protect our children, whatever the cost.
This is why I am running for the position of Director of Tacoma Public Schools. I wish to lend my voice and my resolve to the fight for child safety and justice. I also intend to counter the narrative that tells our children they were born in the wrong body because they do not fit into traditional gender roles. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I stand for self-affirmation without the need for potentially harmful medical interventions.
Let's make history together. Join the WokeComa Nation. Support our children, support our future. Vote Brian'na Wolk.
